Conquering

Hello loves! I am happy to announce that I conquered the most INSANE finals week of my entire life. Spring break! *cue James Franco voice* I’m on to my second year at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Over the past 10 crazy months I’ve fallen even more in love with the fashion industry, which I never thought could be possible. And I found a new love: the beautiful city of angels, Los Angeles. Moving across the country was the best choice I could’ve ever made. I highly encourage anyone to get out of his or her comfort zone and move. Whether it’s across the country, a different country or just a state away. It is one of the most freeing and exhilarating experiences.

Now off of that side note…I have been loving classic button downs lately. They can be styled so many different ways. That inspired today’s post! Today, I rocked this classic staple with edgy elements, like a deep violet lip color and my button down half way tucked in.

Finally Friday

Hello loves! Happy Friday! Hope you all had a happy and productive week.

I absolutely love this look for today's post. Perfect for running around errands on a friday and grabbing lunch or coffee with a friend (Urth Cafe anyone?!) I rarely ever wear denim shorts but I love how they are styled with an over-sized sweater and these thigh highs for a cool yet casual look. Very effortless, which is why it is perfect for days when you want to be stylish but you have 34027 things on your to do list and still want to be comfortable running around.
