The Not So Boring LBD

Hello loves! For today's post I am doing an exciting collaboration with Sisrow Clothing. They have an awesome website with super cool and unique items (all their links will be below). I styled this outfit for a night when you would want to opt for a fancier look. You can never go wrong with all black and this dress has a cutout at the front to spice up the average LBD. I finished the look off with classic black pointed toe pumps and gold jewelry. One of the best things about a LBD is you can style it so many different ways. The limit does not exist (Mean Girls anyone?)

Let's Talk Selfies

Hello loves! And yes thats right...were talking selfies on today's post. Selfies are the phenomenon that blew up over the past few years. I get a lot of questions on how I take my selfies and the editing apps I use. So, I figured this would be a pretty unique post (can't decide if I love or hate myself for this.)

1. Lighting is key girlfriend! Natural lighting outside or by a window works best.
2. Hold the camera slightly higher than you normally would, most of the time it's a more flattering angle on anyone.
3. Editing to make the picture clearer. I use Vcsocam and depending on the picture, I increase the exposure and sharpness. My favorite filters are F2 and B5.

You may be thinking really, a post on selfies? Don't act like you are too cool to take selfies, everyone does it. That brings me to my 4th and final point. No shame in the selfie game girl! WERK it.

Coffee is the Best Accessory

Hello loves! A few friends and I recently went to this adorable coffee shop called Alfred Coffee on Melrose. School has started back up, which means I have reverted back to my ways of running on coffee. Coffee is practically a staple accessory at this point. 
This look is right up my alley. Feat. two of my favorite things, leather and grey helloooo, it basically screams my name. This dress is super comfortable and I love the length where it hits a few inches below the knee (the technical term is tea length.) Or maybe the hem only hits there because homegirl is short, either way, tea length dresses are trending major right now. I finished the look off with these quilted leather sneakers to spice up the outfit with an unexpected touch.

A Little Pop of Something

Hello Loves! Today's post is a pretty typical outfit for me. I naturally stick with neutrals (aka black) and sometimes like to spice up a look with a pop of color. I love pairing shorts with heeled booties because it elongates the legs. This outfit is perfect for a lunch date or meeting a friend for happy hour. The denim shorts keep it casual while the button down and heeled booties tie the look together for a more put together assemble.

I ♡ My Boyfriend (Jeans)

Hello loves! Happy Monday! Today's post is one of my favorite go-to looks. So simple yet it looks effortlessly chic. I finally found a pair of boyfriend jeans that fit me correctly! *Cue celebration dance* for anyone that has been on the hunt for them before, you know what I'm talking about. I paired them with one of my favorite pieces lately, which is this long black vest. I finished the look off with a V-neck for a minimalistic vibe and opted for black pointy toe pumps to dress up the look a bit. I love pointy toe pumps paired with boyfriend jeans.
