White Haute: Bates Motel

Hello Loves! Yesterday a few friends and I went to visit and shoot at the art instillation of Bates Motel. It is a super cool spot, I recommend checking it out. I wanted to keep it pretty casual while still looking stylish. I am obsessed with boyfriend jeans lately and love how chic they look paired with these black pointed toe flats. A simple button down is a staple item in my wardrobe and I loved it half way tucked into these loose fitted boyfriend jeans. Although, it was scorching hot in LA yesterday, this look is perfect for the early weeks of fall before it gets too cold. Which, speaking of, if the dark lip doesn't already speak for itself I can't wait for fall.

Walking on Rooftops

Hello Loves! If you have read my blog for anytime now, then you know how much I love vests. This look is no exception. I love longer vests to add a layer of depth to an outfit, especially in the warmer months. Longer vests automatically make an outfit a little dressier. I paired the vest with an all black outfit underneath to keep it simple. You can never go wrong with a black and white outfit, it will always be classic. I finished this look off with these strappy heels that have studded detailing. This is the perfect outfit for a girls night out or for meeting a special someone for dinner ;)

On Wednesdays We Add Flannel

Hello Loves! I'm starting to think Mean Girl's quotes have become an essential in my blog posts. This look is perfect for a dinner date where you don't want to get too fancy but still want to strut in some heels. I love this heathered rib knit dress beause it hugs your curves in all the right places without being a super tight body con dress, it's a slight hint of sexy. To add an edgy touch to the outfit I tied this red flannel around my waist. I like how funky and unexpected it looked with the pointed toed pumps and dress.

The Deets:
Dress & Flannel: Forever 21
Clutch: H&M
Heels: Blush Boutique (local boutique in Maryland)
Watch: Fossil
Bracelets: H&M, Alex & Ani

Hope you enjoyed! What do you wear on Wednesdays? ;)

I Wasn't Made In LA But I Sure Do Love It

Hello Loves! Happy Friday eve. Today's post is a casual weekend look from a day running around West Hollywood. While I was there I had to do a post in front of this "Made in LA" wall. I mean after all are you really a blogger in LA if you haven't taken a picture in front of it? I love this look because it is comfortable yet fashionable with these strappy day heels and vest. Vests are my thing, I can't get enough of them. One of my go-to tricks for when I don't know what to wear is to put together a monochromatic outfit and throw an edgy vest on top. Voila, you now look stylish in under 3 minutes.

The Deets:
Vest: Forever 21
Shorts: American Eagle
Top: Nordstrom
Heels: Kohls
Sunnies: Melrose Trading Post
Handbag: Kate Spade
